Draper Temple

Thursday the girls, Rob, and I were able to visit the Draper Temple. What a magnificent Temple. Rob being new to the church was especially excited to be inside. Because of the amount of people that are estimated to visit (20,000 a day for the next month) we met at a LDS church close by and were bused up to the Temple. The feeling of reverence that fell upon you as you walked towards the Temple, was as if you were being embraced by loved ones. We are so blessed to have this Temple. After we walked to another LDS church and visited with other families, missionaries, and had refreshments. It was an evening with my cute little family that I will never forget.

The "Big" Surprise

As many of you may know, I am so lucky and blessed to have an amazing mother. This last week we celebrated her 60th surprise bIrThDaY party at the Hilton. What a huge production. We had old friends and family from out of town to be with her. There was great food, dancing, yummy cake, a slide show, and a few letters read to my mom. I know that my mom says that she wishes she was twenty five so she could raise her family all over again. It was so much fun telling little white lies to cover the party plans for the last month! Love you mom.

Three Scriptures...

The Scriptures... I was picking up the house last weekend after church and saw the girls scriptures in a row placed on the piano. An amazing burning came over me. As they all walked in the door from church (hungry of course) and eagerly removed their pumps to relax, one at a time placing their own book the first place they could. I couldn't help but think how thankful I am for righteous children. They each have such a sweet, strong testimony.
